Stayed here New Year's Eve because this hotel is on my hotel bucket list. I knew they were having much needed renovations done, so I decided that I wouldn't let that deter me. I'm definitely coming back after the renovations are done to get the full experience because this stay had me feeling like something was missing. The rooms were spacious and it was quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable too. Outside of the feeling I was missing something, my stay was great. The parking garage is kind of scary and it was unfortunate that there's no direct entrance to the hotel is the only downfall. I will say I enjoyed walking through the halls. The looks and smells made me feel like I traveled back in time to the late 1800s. I half expected to see men with top hats and women in their petticoats.

when i arrived the hotel, it was around 2AM, but receptionist was so kind and nice. she upgraded my room to one bed suite while i booked cheapest room thru Bonvoy app, which was great. Although room size was so plenty for me, looks so dirty and all hardware and furniture like coffee maker, sofa, tables and chairs look so outdate. It needs to be renovated all interior space. Although this is 4star named Renaissance hotel, food quality and service was way under its reputation.

Love staying here. Great location to everything. Currently lots of construction outside but that's ultimately a good thing because renovations are needed on some things. Room needed some love. Hole in the wall under our window and mattress was terrible! Never have a slept on a mattress in this location that didnt feel luxurious. Overall still a very good experience and hoping when all renovations are done it earns back the 5-star rankings.

Booked the suite 10 months ago for a family get together and the tree lighting. We checked in paid for the suite but we're given a different much smaller room but charged for the suite. We were told we could keep that room or cancel for a refund. 10 months of family planning down the drain and there attitude was basically take it or leave it. Grand kids were so disappointed, but we had to cancel or they would have ripped us of on the room. Should have listened to the reviews. We will never stay at a Marriott related property ever again.

Skip this hotel! While the staff were friendly and accommodating, the hotel is very out dated and the rooms are grimy. There was mold in the ceiling of the shower, stains on the walls/floors and everything seemed worn out. My colleague who was here for the same conference apparently had an even worse room. For the price they charge, this is not worth your money! Disappointing for a Marriott property.
