Good value for your money. Great bed, ok shower. Cozy with a cool ambience. A bit noisy at times but you can’t beat the location: easy access to loads of coffee shops, etc.

The location for this place is PERFECT! It will be loud at night but that's because it's centric. The Hotel can arrange for a taxi to pick you up and take you to the airport and if needed to. The staff is very helpful, the facilities are clean and the hotel is neatly decorated and has a beautiful old character vibe. This hotel is located very close to the Galata Tower and also has a train station no further than a couple blocks.

Booked a room for 5 nights and when I arrived I was told that there is a problem with my room so they would give me a smaller room for one night and I would move to a better room next day. The room they gave me was not only small, but was also extremely dirty and unsafe. The door didn’t have an extra lock inside and it was located right next to the entrance and elevator so I felt quite unsafe because I could hear people being outside of my room all the time and I knew I couldn’t even lock my door. Also it is extremely loud and I could hear everything going on outside in the street and outside my room. The room was tiny and very dirty, dirty towels, bedsheets with holes, dirty walls, dirty furniture, dirty bathroom floors. The location is great but I checked out early after first night because I couldn’t even take a shower because of how dirty and unsafe the room felt. I do understand that they were supposed to give me a different room next day but it is unacceptable to give that type of room and tell me that only on my arrival so I have no choice. Mind you, they also charged me the price of a standard room (full price) for that dirty little room I had to spend the night at. The worst service I have ever come across. You can find way better hotels that will be safe and clean in the same area for the same price.
