firstly, don't think it's like a US hotel/motel, no coffee pot or fridge or even an ice bucket in the rooms, have to say that I have a bad back, and the beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The people were really cool and helpful, most speak a little English so that was helpful, the restaurant was decent, food good, prices a little high but it's only to be expected in a hotel, the location is good on the edge of the historic district, so you can walk anywhere, there was a few homeless in the little square next door, but they never bothered us when we walked past, overall good hotel.

You get what you pay for. For the price it was clean & felt pretty safe. Although sometimes my window on the first floor was left unlocked. The homeless next door mind their own business & there is lots of police around. I stayed here alone. The shower did leak a bit & the walls are very thin. You can hear anything that goes on in the hallways. But it was very easy to check in & out.

Staff is good, they even let me check in 3 hours before since the room was ready. The location is not good though, lots of homeless people around

Ohhhh boy I only have to say good things about it. Price, rooms, location, excellent.. If you are looking for a clean place to stay... This is it... They clean your room every day, they change beds every day and they give you clean towels every day too... I am completely amazing about cleanness in this hotel. The location is also good, you can walk from there to museums, Garibaldi Plaza, Zócalo... The prices they offer are also very reasonable. I truly recommend this hotel. They also have taxi service in case you need it.

This hotel is a very basic budget hotel. Location wise it is close to the main attractions in downtown Mexico City, such as the Zocalo, Bellas Artes, the cathedral, and the Alameda. The exterior of the hotel is actually nicer than the rooms. The rooms and the bathrooms are kind of shabby but usable. We stayed there one night prior to taking our flight back home and it did the trick. There is a 24 hour bakery, right next-door that sells really good bread. As other users have said, there are homeless people next to the hotel, but they didn’t bother us. Overall, we had a good experience and would stay again as a cheap place to stay in before for flying out. The airport is about a 20 minute taxi ride away.
