The stay at this hotel was absolutely "Amazing." First sight of the building was very nice with the great historic Swiss building look. The first meeting with the staff was so wonderful. They truly are great people. All were so helpful at guiding, assisting, informing, giving suggestions and even fun just to be around. Oh, it gets better. Once in the room we went to the deck and the view was stunning. The dinners were excellent and staff continued to be super. We stayed for a week and the location was perfect for other activities, views and travels. This place is truly a jewel to stay and see.

I stayed in this amazing hotel in August 2023. Don't be fooled by the pictures. The hotel may look old and rustic in the picture. But in reality, the interior is really nice and clean. It's close to the train station, but it's a fairly steep walk. Coming out of the hotel and take a right, you will have an amazing view of the snow capped mountains and the valley. I was traveling with my parents so we stayed in a triple room. The room seemed basic at first glance, but it's actually built to a high quality and built to last. Everything works and the room is spacious and highly functional. We also had dinners at the hotel for all 3 nights. The food was great and very reasonably priced. The best part of the stay are the people. Everyone we met has been very kind and super helpful. Thank you, Daniel, Tomas, Claudia, Pedro, Matthias and the rest of the Hotel Edelweiss team for a wonderful stay!

The view from our room was breathtaking. The hotel staff certainly makes this place unforgettable. Service was next level, and the breakfast and dinner options were excellent. Only thing I would change is the pillows. They were a tad to flat for me to get comfortable.

From start to finish our whole stay was wonderful. We felt at home from the very first second. Room was really comfortable and shows attention to details (I fell in love with the edelweiss bedding). Great views from balcony. Food was fresh and tasty, reasonably varied. Fondue is a must! Staff really made this stay ten times better. Thank you Thomas, Daniel, Pedro and the rest of staff for your excellent service.
