I hate giving negative reviews but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. Booked it based on reviews but it just wasn’t to my tastes. Check in - was clumsy and just not very smooth at all. The room - getting to it was the biggest issue. The hotel has 3 buildings and you need to take 3 elevators and 2 walkways to get to building C. It really took ages. And the room itself was just bland and soulless. The beds were good. But the towels were pitifully thin. Location - the worst part. The hotel is over a km from the beach. Knew this beforehand but thought there was a shortcut walk. There isn’t! So it’s a long walk or wait for a taxi. Communal areas - boiling hot with no aircon anywhere. It was stifling. Felt sorry for the staff. Breakfast - was a high point. Breakfast is really good and plenty of choice. Restaurant - ate in the restaurant when a monsoon hit. Food was really good, service was good, and good value for hotel food. Finally, lasted one night and checked out to move elsewhere. Think that says it all. Sorry Hotel IKON but just not good enough.

Rooms are very clean but look bigger in the pictures and the bed sheets have holes in them and stains. Service was really good and receptionists were very kind and respectful. However, i had a really bad experience with a rude worker in the breakfast area. Location is good but a bit far from the beach

Truly a 4-Star hotel in terms of overall amenities, F&B(breakfast are the best!), hospitality of the staffs, hygiene, vibes, and strategic location that are surrounded by many selections of local cafe and international restaurants, yet just a stone's throw away from Karon Beach! Extremely worthwhile to spend your holidays in this hotel! Stay to Believe!
