Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Krone. Staff was extremely helpful and the Hotel was extremely convenient for traveling throughout the city. With the Metro being right out front, getting onto the 11 or the 14 train was super easy. The rooms were clean and rather larger. Bathrooms were also very clean and large. It was a little pricey however totally worth the cleanliness and location.

Krone is well know hotel near to Zurich’s city centre. I got an upgrade to a bigger room. Location is very practical, rooms are clean and comfortable, maybe some renewal would improve them. Service is good and breakfast is international and fresh. Good value for the money.

Beautiful old building and nicely modernised. Friendly staff. Big rooms and bathroom. No ice machine. Right in front of the tram stop to get to the city which is only not so far. 11 or 14 to hop on.

Clean, comfortable enough for the price, electric mounted air con unit was great for a fan, window that opened wide, and electric kettle. Front desk women who checked me in was exceptionally nice. Room was an economy room. I was to say the bed was a full bed, which was fine for someone my size (5’9” or 174 cm) but I could see this easily being too snug for some. Similarly, the shower was quite small with little room to even rotate. Anyone bigger than 200 lbs (90 kg) might have issues. Overall, at $120/night it was a clean and affordable 1 night option for my Zurich layover.
