The rooms were clean although tvs were not working also speakers were not working The worst experience we had was with the bartender , not sure of his name but was working the bar night of 26th Jan with a left earring and beard a darkly tanned man We decided we would go for a snack before our main dinner in Zurich city centre so went down to the restaurant When we got there we were taken to the bar as there was a function on in the restaurant We ordered 2 fries and a beer and when we did this he laughed and said you are in Switzerland now you can’t order sides without a main. It seemed like the man had something against us and really hated his job This is so off putting in such a nice city and was a real shame for our first night

While the staff were very kind in allowing our family to check in early, there were quite a few things that were off putting. First, the air conditioning was not working so we requested fans (which we received and were helpful). Second, the housekeeping did not clean well - the towels and sheets remained dirty during the cleanings and were not changed. Third, there were no English channels available on the TV. The positives were that our accessible room had a great roll-in shower and the hotel was within a minute or two walk to a great shawarma restaurant as well as a pizza place. The hotel was also within 10 minutes walking distance of a supermarket. Overall, the outside looked very modern while the indoors did not match.

Location: about 15 minutes tram rides to Zurich main station. For elderlies or people with limited mobility, using trams may not be very convenient. Room: Clean and modern. Bathroom is quite spacious. Just be careful when showering as the shower door may not close perfectly and as a result water will splash/drip everywhere. Food: Plenty of choices Gym: Very small. Service: quick check in/out. Very friendly service. Just a small issue when we checked in, our in-room safe was in locked position (maybe the previous guest forgot to open it). Called for a tech a few times, no one came. Overall, recommended
