The room is a bit small but satisfactory for just sleeping. However, we were tricked by the hotel to pay compensation for the damage to the TV where we did not even touch it and turn it on. We just left our luggage after check out (we already asked and got permission to leave the luggage at the hotel) and intend to take it back before leaving for the bus station. They forced us to pay 100 euros otherwise they would call the police. They also locked the door of the room where our luggage was. This is outrage and sneaky!! They did call the police and we had to wait there quite a long! (We weren't sure if it was a fake call or not) and we also called the police station after waiting for about half an hour, 3 police officers finally arrived and asked for the hotel employee's ID card and our passports, after which we were allowed to leave. Very grateful that nothing worse happened but this is very bad and embarrassing for the hotel!!! We plan to give a good rating but after this incident, we will not give any good rating for this hotel!!! For travelers outside, there is no need to choose this hotel, it is better to prevent from getting hit!! travel safe everyone They also changed the receptionists a lot! The man who asked us for 100 euros is the 3rd face we noticed standing behind the receptionist's table, very unprofessional!

Terrible hotel, i wish i had read the reviews before hand. The location is good but thats about the only positive. The rooms were tatty and dusty, the shower sprayed water all over the floor and there was no hot water. Also advertised as having a bath, but the plug didn't fit so the bath drained immediately, not to mention it was tiny, and only a child could use it comfortably. There was no central heating, and when we asked for it we were told that the central heating was broken until next week (after our stay). This is a hostel charging hotel prices using their location as their shield. When i shared my discontent with the hotel online, i was greeted with rudeness claiming i was trying to 'get a free holiday'! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! save your money and go to a proper hotel.

Great location and friendly staff. It’s a shame they don’t just spend some money and update the rooms slightly it could be a real gem. The air con didn’t work neither did the fridge. There were no sockets available in the room. The bathroom was simple but clean + tidy & had a hairdryer and the shower was actually brilliant although they could just spend €5 to move the shower head holder to a normal height. Staff were friendly, the breakfast is very very basic and they were non-stop clattering plates and cutlery into the dishwasher for the entire breakfast. Overall, it was an ok stay for 1 night just to see Venice. We got the water bus straight to the front of the hotel alleyway . But it’s a shame they don’t just spend some money on updating the basics and could have a really special little hotel on their hands. I wouldn’t stay again but overall was satisfied with the experience.

Had a great experience here. The hotel has an incredible location 3 mins walking to San Marco Square. We booked the room with a terrace that has amazing views. Staff speaks all languages and they have a storage space for your luggage. The Alilaguna bus parks 3 mins walking from here. Nevertheless will skip the breakfast as there are 2 incredible tasty coffee places just 20m away.
