All in all it was fine. The main house is really nice, but we stayed in the annex. Nice linen and very comfy beds, but the walls are very thin and you hear a lot of your neighbours. Parking on site is 25€ per night, recommend to stay at the almost half price public parking a few hundred metres away instead.

From start to finish, my partner and I were blown away with Everything to do with this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite, the room was cosy, comfy and perfect for what we needed and the location was brilliant. I’ve been to Bruges a few times now and I’ve found quite a few of the hotels can be hit or miss…. This hotel hits the nail on the head. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so good! We can’t wait to be back soon 😉

I give this place a 1 star overall. And I'll explain why. Firstly, my partner and I got there as early as we expected, told the bloke at the counter to which he replied,' Your room will be ready at 3pm' as we expected, so we went on a walk for a few hours to get to grips with the area as we were visiting for the Christmas fair. Well, when we returned to the hotel for 3, we were then told 'the room wouldn't be ready until 4pm, would we like a drink while we wait', naturally expecting the cup of tea and half a pint of beer to be complimentary for the extra HOUR wait we had falling asleep in the waiting room. The room was terrible, the walls were like paper, and the creature above could clearly be heard early morning waking us up walking about. No real tea facilities, you must go down to the lobby for that. Then you are expected to pay 25 euros a night for parking, when parking on the street is free. Anyway, upon checking out, the receptionist charged us for the drinks. Then, when confronted, his reply was,' we did our job and informed you the room would be late ' when we got there at 3, that was by the arrogant receptionist. Bare in mind this place is 150 euro + a night right. They want 30 euro for their breakfast, which we obviously declined. Needless to say, save your money and go elsewhere. And if it's for a Christmas market, go to Rochester in Kent England its 10x better. The beers have heads like ice creams, and the food is ALL the same. Overall, don't bother with Brugge its boring.

This is my second visit in the past few years. I stayed in the bottom level garden view room which was a little damp. I recommend going up a level. It was only a 2 night stay, so I can't comment to much on the service. I ate breakfast down the street at Books & Brunch, but the hotel breakfast looked good if you just want to spend some more and have the convenience. Coffee in the restaurant lounge area is nice. It's in a great location. Nice garden and relaxing atmosphere. Just close enough to the center without all the hubbub.
