Absolutely a desastre, they had a birthday party in a room with a Band, our baby couldn't sleep and once we addressed the issue to the receptionist, he said "just a bit more", same receptionist didn't bring us extra pillows that we asked. Room was dirty, one glass was used. We have been coming to palma real regularly however we won't be back, this hotel is not what it used to be, seems like is has no management!!! Also very loud

Nice hotel close to La Sabana Metropolitan Park in the west part of San Jose. It is not near San Jose downtown, but it is walking distance [approximately 20 minutes]

Nice hotel. It’s a short walk from town but there are a lot of hills so be prepared. Where good walking shoes. The room had a lovely porch. It was cold and windy while I was here so make sure you have a jacket. Basic room. Sometimes there’s no hot water.

The breakfast buffet food was always cold regardless of if you went down at 6am, 7am, 8am, 9am. We also got pushed everyday to buy day trips but after a week of asking he finally stopped. The room was nice, however it is quite expensive for what it was. The menu options were very good quality but very expensive and not big enough to be full from. For some reason they also charged my credit card again after we left. Only thing I can think of is the phone. The phone didn’t seem to work other than to call downstairs. Local calls should be included in my room fee. Especially since we never got thru to any of the numbers we tried to call. Kinda ridiculous to charge me to call the services in the hotel, like housekeeping or the front desk.
