On arrival found the toilet seat broken. Hotel undertook to repair it but failed to do so and we had to repair it ourselves. The extractor fan did not work and the shower head produced little water as most of the shower head holes were blocked. The room was equipped with a kettle but no cups. Our request for two cups was refused. Every morning the coffee machine failed to work producing only an undrinkable potion of watery milk. It required to be repaired every day. On one morning the staff had failed to turn it on. The bedroom was very dilapidated and the blinds were positioned in such a fashion that the street lights shone on the pillows so that we had to reposition the bed every night in order to get to sleep. This hotel is best avoided.

I have been in Rio Hôtel with my familly for 2 weeks I want to thanks all personnel who works there they are very kind and helpfull Rio Hôtel my favorite place from now🥰🥰🥰

This place is horrible! I stayed 2 days not more!! Staff don t respect customers by speaking and laughing during all night long. It s better to sleep in the street. Customers are not good also, they scream and laugh non stop. So you will feel in a zoo park believe me that animals are better. I notice that this hotel is not managing by Turkish but arabics.. Impossible to sleep.

V good hotel in one of the best areas in Istanbul. Friendly staff and they speak Turkish, English, and Arabic. It close to everything you need, such as shopping, restaurants, and other various attractions. Very close to bus and train stations. Rooms are clean and paths have larger areas than other hotel and they are good. Prices are cheap and cheaper if you negotiate with them. Only one thing is the location in Google Map is not accurate. I attached an image that guide you the exact location with 260 m distance. I would come again and recommend it to everyone.

3* because the hotel itself claims they have 3. For the price and general expectations it was pretty great hotel. Big plus is how close it is to touristy places like Grand Bazar,Hagia Sophia,Blue Mosque etc. It was really 20min walk,tops. Breakfast is a standard hotel/hostel breakfast,nothing fancy,but good for the morning and eatable 😆 The staff are very nice and helpful too,although they don't really speak English they will find a way to understand you and help you.
