We enjoyed our second year staying here. The staff are friendly and full of smiles. Making us feel very welcomed. That's why we came back again. Antonio served us breakfast and lunch. He made sure we had milk with ice at ever service. Joe in aqua fit even remembered us from last year.. he motivated us to get up and move our booties. He has energetic classes. That you do them everyday. Angel is so kind and sweet. He has so much energy and is always smiling. He always made sure we were having a good time. We love these guys so much.

My family and I spent the NYE in the hotel. The food, service, and location are excellent. The room was always clean, thanks to Agustina, who always left cute little animals made with towels for us. We loved all of them. However, the room's layout is terrible, with the tub in the middle and no privacy. Unfortunately, the weather was not the best, but I danced almost every afternoon with the best instructor ever, my new friend Joel. He encourages us all to dance and participate in many activities despite the weather. Thank you!

Upon arrival we were greeted and quite pleased with our room. Nice layout, decently appointed. Beds are strange, not conducive for a couple to snuggle up though. Room came with king bed but was just two twins(?) pushed together. Bed was comfortable enough though. Not sure why Mexico resorts have such difficulty bringing a wider variety of television, esp. English. In today’s advanced tech, it’s a conundrum. Unfortunate that the channels are so limited. This is esp relevant when you are cooped up (sick, rain, etc). Beach is very nice, lovely for swimming, beautiful sand, well maintained. THE FOOD - low grade. It’s a matter of perspective but coming from Canada where we are used to AAA grade meat, this is not. Most meats were tough and chewy. By the end of the week we were having a hard time finding desirable and healthy foods to eat. Looks are deceptive. Lots of things taste the same day after day and often appears to be many things cooked in the same sauces. Many foods overcooked, all bread sweet, high sugar content in all foods. High fat content too in almost everything. If you want to pack on 10lbs in a week, easy to do. Way too much deep fried foods. Limited chicken options - seems turkey is replacing chicken. Why is that? If you are health conscious, it is very difficult to spend a week eating here. A La cartes are essentially the same, thinly disguised as upscale, but not. We think that this is our last time at an all inclusive. Not worth it. Much rather do our own cooking. *****GREAT STAFF!!!***** These larger resorts need to think more strategically about options on their resorts for when weather is inclement. Nothing else to do when raining. Near zero nearby activities. Seems pretty safe on resort. 5th Ave is really unseemly. Cheap goods, booze and shysters. That’s it. Oh and Starbucks. Watch what you’re buying in stores. Cheap stuff sold for $$$$$. Swim up bars could use better monitoring for heavy drinking in a pool. Liabilities?
