I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The rooms were in poor condition, and the bed linens had an unpleasant odor. The walls were so thin that I could hear everything in the hallway and neighboring rooms. The decor throughout, from the room to the corridor, was extremely unsettling. I felt quite uncomfortable during my stay. Additionally, the windows in the room were difficult to open, Furthermore, I must mention that the view from the window was just a plain wall. Besides the elevator was out of order during my stay, and I had to carry all my luggage to the fourth floor by myself. This was incredibly inconvenient and made the overall experience even worse. This lack of any pleasant view added to the disappointment of the stay. Overall, the combination of issues like the unpleasant smell, thin walls, creepy decor, non-functional elevator, and the lack of a decent view made this hotel a truly regrettable choice.

The rooms are small and simple, but very clean, airy and nice. Personell is nice and friendly. The big problem in the end of July 2023 was that the elevator was out of order, and had been so for many weeks, as I were told. I want to warn any tourist with suitcases to book this hotel right now, as you can get a room on 5th floor - and you then need to carry everything with you up a lot of stairs. And this is an OLD Berlin-building with very roomy ceiling height - so the stairs are looooong.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Close to pretty much everything. Other parts of it, great for the price. Inside the hotel is very quiet but there is some noise coming from the outside. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Rooms aren't very modern but thats fine. There is not an air conditioner or fridge here. Throughout my stay, the wi-fi was very problematic. The conenction would cut every few minutes and it was basically unusable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in berlin for a few nights.

Do not stay here! Avoid hotel Spreewitz at all costs. The hotel is dirty, unkept, and unsafe. The door to our room did not latch and had previously been forcefully entered on more than one occasion.(picture) The carpet was stained, the shower was broken, and the room was overall very dirty. We stayed one night (we had no other choice) and booked another hotel for the remainder of our stay in Berlin. Please see Booking.com for similar reviews.
