A Modest Stay with Pros and Cons I recently spent five nights at this hotel during my trip to Tbilisi. Situated on an elevation, it offers a unique perspective of the city, but be prepared for a challenging uphill walk. While conveniently close to Avlabari metro station, those with heavy baggage may find it necessary to opt for a taxi. The hotel is nestled in a residential area, providing a quiet respite from the city's hustle and bustle. However, there were some notable points that impacted my stay. Room cleaning was performed every three days, which might not suit everyone's preference. Additionally, the bathroom left much to be desired. A leaking bathtub and limited space, coupled with the absence of a tissue hanger and a petite sink, were notable inconveniences. The breakfast schedule might require some adjustment for early risers. Although advertised for 9 am, the staff graciously accommodated our request for an 8 am serving. It's important to note that the breakfast offered here is a genuine Georgian cuisine experience, which may not appeal to every palate accustomed to standard hotel fare. Overall, this is a basic budget hotel that manages to maintain a clean and tidy appearance. While it may not boast extravagant amenities, its simplicity is its charm. For travelers seeking a modest accommodation option, this hotel serves its purpose well.

If you are looking for a cheap place and just need a bed, it is ok. The room we stayed in 2 adults and two kids was dirty, still had an old slipper from a previous guest, a used bandaid on the ground, every towel had a different hair on it, and the service was sub-par. No service for the room on the third day as described in the reservation. Breakfast was not offered when we went to the breakfast room on our first day due to the cook being out, but no notice was given to the guests. The food was alright when we did eat breakfast the next day though. The shower was full of black mold, and hair/grime was everywhere in the bathroom. Other than the dirty room and lack of service, the bed and room were fine. Only saving grace was the view from the roof for New Years fireworks.

The room wasn’t as clean as the pictures showed it. We couldn’t even get to shower because the hotel didn’t have water at that moment so we had to wait until next day to brush our teeth and get a shower. We asked the personal to get some water so we can at-least use it but he wanted to charge us for it. Very disappointed about the hotel.

I had a lovely stay here for four nights. Great neighbourhood with restaurants, underground and stores very close. The rooms are clean and have everything needed. The hotel is very clean and has a calm vibe to it. The terrace has a great view and peaceful. The food is great too. Mancho and Ani were the kindest hosts and took care of everything I needed for me. They even took care of me when I was ill, bring me tea, doing my laundry and going to the pharmacy for me if I needed. Great place. Great hosts. I'm so glad I stayed here and I look forward to coming back.
