Very bad run down area, gypsies are squatting in all abandoned properties. No resturants near to hand. Was advised by taxi driver this hotel is used for men's mistresses and you pay by the hour. Bed bugs on my friend and that was only sitting atop of the covers. Only saving grace was the lovely receptionist but we left after half an hour, once we had secured another hotel to stay in.

Good price for the money but the hosts are very noisy in the morning. Also, the Gara de Nord zone it not very good, there were a lot of creeps in the night on the streets. The receptionist was pretty rude at times.

The girls at the desk are nice and the service is not bad. When I arrived, the police were there due to a lady who claimed to have received a dirty room. She wanted a refund and did not get one. The restroom in my room smelled awful even though it looked clean. The walls are also paper thin so you can hear anything and everything happening around you. There was someone knocking loudly on a door nearby and yelling for quite a long while. I couldn't tell if it was in the building or one nearby. Regardless, it was loud. This was after 12am. It is close to everything, though, and if you want a hotel room for cheap, this one will do. I stayed one night and it was okay, more than that, I cannot say.
