close to central train station, FlixBus stop to Basel Euroairport, close to morning market. Hospitality is excellent, utilizing only renewable energy is mirae and.I just like the hotel ambience very much.

This was the first hotel we stayed in after disembarking from our Rhine River Cruise. Great location, great room, amazing continental breakfast. All anyone could hope for in a hotel.

My parents stayed at the hotel from the 1st of May till the 3rd May of this month as part of a birthday celebration. However, the experience was purely a negative one as the front of house team responded to the concerns/issues very rudely. Thus, the rating of one star. To begin with my parents arrived in the evening and the room was set for one including the basic hotel amenities e.g., towels and soaps considering that the paid reservation was for two people. When this was addressed the next morning a lady with short hair and a young male specifically told my parents to book a different hotel the next time because of the many complaints. Moreover, the air conditioning in the room would not work at all and when this was addressed with the front of house staff they were informed that it is only switched during high temperatures. As far I am aware the weather in Freiburg, Germany was around 23/24 degrees so my question is when can one switch on the AC? Also, my parents were not offered a single alternative solution. My parents paid quite a lot of money to stay at the hotel and for the experience. Thus, they have every right to share their complaints and issues with the hotel front of house team. Furthermore, the hotel staff do not have the right to tell them what they can and cannot do. The experience at Hotel Premier Victoria was just purely appalling and definitely not something that one would expect at a four star hotel. Specifically, taking into consideration there were also a few racist remarks towards my parents from the front of house team. Lastly, the location is good very close to the city. However, since you cannot switch on the AC and would need to open the windows the hotel room will be loud due to the noise from the surrounding area.
