Stayed during October 2023. Clean rooms which appeared to have been recently painted. New mattress on the bed. It’s not your large, comfortable chain hotel, it has character and unusual designs. Location is perfect for exploring Paris and the surrounding area with very close access to trains and metros. Service was very helpful.

Enjoyed staying here. The location is great as it’s a 2 minute walk to multiple metro entrances but located in the midst of countless restaurants and cafes. The hotel rooms are older and shows it’s age but it’s a good thing as it really allows you to experience and appreciate the history of Paris and feel as if you are living in its old days. The courtyard is beautiful and the breakfast, service and staff there are amazing.

This is not a new review. Google tried to take this down and I had to appeal it. This review is for my visit in September 2023. Sofa bed didn’t even fit in the space, tiny room for 3 people, old wrappers and tickets under the sofa, room is worn out, fake flowers, dark hallway, zero WiFi, no drinking water, good location, friendly staff. I thought I would at least get my own bed as shown in the pictures. I asked for a different room and either you have WiFi or you have air conditioner…you can’t have both and there’s nothing they can do about it but apologize and take your money. The different room they gave me had a horrible bathroom. Black mold and old broken shower door. Bathroom and bedroom were dirty with other people’s hair still all over the bathroom. Whoever supervises housekeepers is doing a poor job. I honestly wanted to leave but no refund. I won’t be returning nor would I ever recommend this place. In fact I will be asking booking.com for my money back for this one.

I’ve seen some lackluster reviews of this hotel so I’ll start by saying that I disagree with them. First I’d recommend looking at the dates of these reviews. Most of them are old. Our experience here was great. We had a long stay, nine nights, so we really got to know the hotel and the staff. Every person we met was extremely friendly and helpful. You get the feeling that they truly care about your comfort and experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfy with fresh sheets daily if you want them. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with thick good smelling towels and as much hot water as you can use. This is not a Hilton or some big chain hotel. This is a Paris hotel owned and ran by Parisians. Stay here for a great Paris experience.
