it was an overall disappointing experience for me in January stay. I asked for itemized receipt showing charge for each day and lady during checkout refused. First time in my life, her excuse was my stay booked through Expedia. Room was average, bathroom small and has sliding door. Water temperature is problematic, no facilities like pool, sauna etc during winter stay. Expensive parking. Overall it’s more like below average 3 star. Don’t book.

These guys aren't very friendly. Well, it depends on who you get to talk to. Some of them are snobs and don't care about their customers, and others are nice. It was mostly very quiet, and the breakfast goes with the room. The server isn't too nice if you don't eat all of your food, and he snubbed us because we weren't very hungry and didn't eat much. The beds are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! They are terrible to sleep on, so take a comfortable mattress pad with you (no kidding!), and take your own pillows and comforter. I'm just telling you the way it is there.

First time staying here and at first blush it can appear quite impressive as you walk through the main entrance. It's large, inviting, and seems pretty modern. The bar on the right is conveniently located and a store and coffee shop are all within easy reach. Upon closer inspection, and when you check into your room, it's obvious that the hotel is a bit dated. The shower is usually a tell tale sign of how updated things really are. My shower head was old, and the water pressure would nearly vaporize the water. Had to turn it way down to avoid skin rash. The room itself was okay, but the pillows had very little support. Despite those minor gripes, I found the stay to be quite nice. It's connected to tje convention center and therefore very convenient. And it is for this reason I will likely stay again. Staff was friendly and a pleasure to chat with.

We went to the 49ers game. This was the absolute ideal location. It was just a very short walk to the stadium. We ate at the restaurant the first night which was expensive but good. The room was clean and nice; the view of the stadium was awesome. We asked for something special to be done for my friend's birthday but there were no decorations or acknowledgement; a minor disappointment. The door to the bathroom didn't close all the way which wasn't ideal but not horrible either. We mentioned it in passing to one of the maintenance engineers and one of the staff called about fixing it. 5 stars for that. We chose not to have it fixed but nice they tried. Overall a very good experience. We will be back.
