Took the family on a 4 night trip to Munich on an Easy Jet Holiday. Didn't have huge expectations of the accomodation but it was perfect for what we needed. Right by the tram stop, a few shops. Friendly staff. Rooms small but neat, well you get what you pay for. Ideal base for exploring as long as you're happy with a quick tram ride.

Center of everything, close to public transport and safe location. It is a basic city hotel. If you are looking for a good price, safe location and decent room, you would have them.

We stayed 10 nights. It's OK. for 2 stars.. Rooms didn't cleaned properly. Breakfast wasn't offered properly. Location is good for transport. But, not clean at all.

I was worried when hubby said we're staying at an Ibis as past experience hasn't been good. However, this hotel was fantastic! Clean, quiet, comfortable and cosy. Close to public transport links. Breakfast was good. The staff were lovely, putting up with my dodgy German. I can't fault this place. I think some of the other Ibis hotels I've stayed at need to come and look at how these guys do it.

We had a good five nights stay. The rooms are modern and functional, but a bit small, especially if you have large or many suitcases. The rooms are kept clean and tidy. The reception is friendly and helpful. TV in our room is a bit too old with no batteries on the remote - we hardly turned it on though. The location is not bad if you are willing to walk about 8 min to Silberhorne U bahn station. Plenty of super markets and restaurants around if you do not want to go to the center. We were in Munich for medical reasons so Ibis sud was a good choice overall.
