Hotel location was good for us as a family 👪 . It was our first time in Zurich. However, I have to address that there was a preach of safety, security, and privacy during my stay at ibis city center, Zurich, Switzerland. The Terrified incident has caused significant distress, trauma, and physical harm to myself and my family. While we were peacefully asleep in our room, an alarming event transpired that left us severely unsettled and emotionally scarred. The hotel's stuff forcefully opened the door of our room without any prior authorization or notification during the late hours of the night. The gravity of the situation ultimately lead to one member of my family with sustaining injuries during the ensuing confusion. Needless to say, this traumatic experience has left us deeply disturbed and has had a profound impact on our overall well-being. We believe that this incident demonstrates a blatant disregard for guest safety and security on the part of hotel management. This intrusion into our privacy could not have been more distressing, especially considering the fact that we were in a vulnerable state as guests at the hotel. Not only did this incident cause us immense emotional and mental distress, but it also resulted in physical harm as we, startled and frightened, attempted to defend ourselves. We firmly believe that the breach of privacy and safety and the resulting trauma and harm inflicted upon our family are intolerable and unacceptable. It is our right as guests to feel safe and secure during our stay at any hotel.

Not a good experience staying in this hotel. No kettle in the room, so asking for hot water at the bar, and got replied that normally they don't provide hot drinkable water for the guest. Just wondering why they don't provide the pot in the room.

Really great location only 10 minutes on a tram to the centre of Zurich. The tram is either at the end of the road or in the other side of the hotel…depends on which way you go. In Pulp 5 (I think it’s called) on the other side of the road, you can find a COOP, restaurant, kiosk and Gym along with a few other businesses. If you walk through Pulp 5, there is another popular supermarket and a Pizza shop. The rooms were really clean and tidy and made up everyday. Our room overlooked a busy road and it can get a little noisy at night unless you close the window. I didn’t really notice as I’m a heavy sleeper but the wife did mention it a few times. The staff are really helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our luggage in a locked room due to arriving at the hotel too early. We chose this opportunity to pop into the city and check in later in the day. We stayed for 4 nights and had breakfast included every morning. They pretty much cover all bases with a nice selection of bread, fruit, yogurt, meat, cereal, bacon, egg. They did have a small pancake machine which worked the first day but not the rest of the week. Tea, coffee and fruit juice available. If I went back to Zurich I would definitely use this hotel again.
