Om my goodness 4 stars ? Do not trust this stars and all of them is been written by people who works in island which they are from Bangladesh . Such s nasty hotel with lots of trash around , i could not even believe what i see with my eyes. After check in we faced the disasters, room with entire fungi and even pillow was full of fungi. I asked staff to come and see . They did not even take a pillow with them to wash and they just relocated the pillow and they told us they will give us other room. All room was trash snd even animal could not survive there. Manager is really rude and he did not care if you don t have s place in middle of nowhere , U will def lose your healthiness by just staying in this nastiest hotel in the world . DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME . PAY LITTLE MORE AND JUST GET A GOOD HOTEL . We were just lucky and could find a place on luxury hotel by just paying 30€ more than the nastiest Icon hotel .

This is one of the best hotel in Maafushi Island. Atmosphere is very nice. Places are calm and quite. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are mind blowing. They provide buffet breakfast at the morning. The sea view from the hotel room is really very charming. Everything ia nearby from this hotel. It takes about five minutes walking From Maafushi pier to iCom Marina Sea View Hotel.

Overall, our stay at icom was awesome. Rooms were clean, and each and every staff member was ready to help at any time on whatever requirements we had. We booked a deluxe room with sea view and our room was in the 4th floor. The view was mesmerizing. We will definitely recommend icom to anyone in our circle visiting Maafushi.

OMG!! I just cannot believe how this swamp hole has 4.2 stars??? DISGUSTING! I cannot even express my anger here with words written in caps lock. First of all the hallway smells like stinky armpit! Next is, the rooms are stinky, dirty and windows cannot be fully closed, with AC on I had minimum of 10 mosquitoes. AC doesn’t work either, I’m just getting the minimum of air. My throat is itchy and I am breathing heavily, the smell is just so toxic. I have heard this hotel was built about 3-4 years ago… I just cannot understand, why did they even waste materials and resources to build this card house. By the way, the walls of the building are extremely thin that, my anxiety level was on maximum on the 5th floor. The elevator stinks as hell, so I decided to take stairs… you know The main purpose of the railing is to prevent a person from falling over the perimeter of the structure and to provide a point of support for the hands when walking along the structure. And they have stairs but not hand railing. So if I fall and break my legs or arms, is the hotel gonna take responsibilities for the situation and pay for the hospital bills and recovery?? How extremely hard is it just to put at least hand railings?? It’s not just about the building hotels, no, the safety must come first, and as well the durability. I’ve been to other islands, but Maashida was the most disappointing island, with maximum amount of trash, 2 times at least expensive than other islands. It’s very sad how locals and visitors do not even try to appreciate the islands beauty, but just litter as much as they can. Anyways, if possible do not approach this hotel. Because of safety concerns, hygiene issues and the way how they charge twice more for the stuff which are considered as essentials. Moreover, try to avoid this whole island, because with fragile card house buildings, trash, poor air and water quality, it’s even dangerous to enter this island.
