Great location and service. In particular the concierge, Jessica Kim, went above and beyond to answer our random questions. The ladies at the front desk were always very nice and helpful. The only reason I cannot give this hotel 5 stars is because our room was too hot and I couldn’t get it to cool off. 25 Celsius is too hot to sleep under a down comforter.

It's a time capsule to the early 2000's. It's just old. The service wasn't at a level I consider luxury and their umbrella policy is one of the most stupid backwards ideas I've experienced. My wife has stayed here multiple times and it was my first, we will never stay here again. Also I don't want some young no life experience brat telling me what to do and giving me attitude at a hotel I'm staying at. It's as if the only way you can get these folks to do what you want is to flex your wealth, seems to be a Korean trend. I would assume staying at the hotel and renting two rooms for 10 days would be flex enough. So many things were wrong with our stay! They seems more focused on their stupid cafe, which is really smoke and mirrors for the fact the rest of the hotel is old and run down. This is not a 5 star luxury hotel, it's more like a 3-4 star business class hotel.

My husband and I arrived and didn't get the room we requested, IT WAS BETTER! The service in this hotel is fantastic. Everyone tries their best to find a solution with a smile. Our room was clean and spotless daily. And the restaurant buffet was one of the best we have ever experienced. We feel truly appreciated as guests here, which is why we always return.

In SK, winter is 🍓 season!! And each year their lounge bar transforms into a yummy strawberry themed buffet. I think it’s a fun thing that each person should try if they’re in Korea in the winter. It’s a little pricey on the weekends and we spent 100 per person. But you can get strawberry cocktails, wine, platters of food, and all the strawberry themed foods and desserts you can eat for 2 hours! (Reservations required) It’s a little smaller than the usual buffet but the chefs do a great job and the workers speak English and Korean!

We took the airport limousine bus and dropped off just outside the hotel such a great location and were making our way to the entrance. We had to pass by the glass side of the hotel to the main entrance the hotel staff spotted us and came running out to greet us and take our luggage! That was such a warm welcome it made our day. We had a 2 hour ride on the limousine bus as the JW Marriott stop was way down the list of stops, don't mind me, the limousine bus was a comfortable ride but we were happy to be off the bus and to be welcomed like that, as long time marriott guests that was possibly the best welcome we ever had! Throughout our 6 nights here we encountered warm and friendly service. The room is very zen looking with clean lines and well designed. There us enough storage space for my wife and I to unpack. The toiletries are lovely and luxurious and the breakfast is a delight it is better on the Asian dishes but there are still sufficient western breakfast items for those who need their breads, omelette, muffins, bacon, etc. The French toast is one of the best I ever had. Gym is very well equipped but the pool though heated is small. The hotel does occupy premium space in Seoul. Location is great just next to the airport bus stop and the train system. Conveniently close by to the areas of interest we want to go to. Today is my last night here. Making the most of my day and a big thank you to Marriott again!
