Throughout the years, we have stayed at the most iconic hotels in London - you name it and we have stayed there. The JW Marriott Grosvenor house hotel is simply the best hotel in London. Starting with the exceptional staff, exceptional location and attention to detail in almost every way. The executive lounge is second to none with probably the best breakfast spread I have seen in any of these high-end hotels - and by the way, most of the others don’t even have any type of lounge offering. The lounge is stocked from morning to late night, with free flowing food and goodies all day and then a happy hour that starts at 5:30. If you have kids who eat nonstop like ours this is a gift gift.. From the moment you walk into the lobby you're greeted warmly and the front desk make every effort to upgrade you based on your status and in fact we often get upgraded to a wonderful room and if not we can always choose a room facing the park etc. etc. They try to accommodate from the moment you step in. This particular trip in December was made even more special by Anna the executive lounge and in room dining manager. She would often walk around the lounge in the morning greeting customers and engaging in conversation. We were speaking with her when she then innocuously asked what our room number was and made a point to send up wonderful treats nightly! We could not believe it, the best hotel was made even better! So thank you Anna - the location is spectacular you are close to Oxford Street close to Piccadilly and in the heart of Mayfair. The tube stations are right there and best of all you are across from Hyde Park. It does not get much better than this location if at all, so if you can't tell we are huge fans of the hotel the staff and the location, and of London in general. We will be back in April!

JW Steakhouse offers a lovely upscale dining atmosphere with spacious seating between tables and a nice cloakroom service - a special touch. On our recent dinner visit, the food choices appealingly ranged from quality steaks to burgers to seafood. I opted for the steak with peppercorn sauce, cooked precisely to my preference of medium rare. My wife enjoyed her burger, which came with a side of sweet potato fries included in the price - an unexpected bonus. Although we passed on dessert this time, the cheesecake is a must-try from a previous visit - a generously sized portion perfect for sharing. The only disappointment came at the start of our meal. The waiter who initially greeted us and provided his name and menus never returned. Another server, whose name we unfortunately didn't catch, ultimately waited on us instead. While polite, a smile and warmer manner would have enhanced the service. Minor issue aside, for a quality steakhouse meal in a prime location opposite Hyde Park, JW Steakhouse hits the marks. The winter lights of Winter Wonderland fairs across the street added to the experience this time of year. An onsite Starbucks inside The Grosvenor House provides a convenient option for coffee or a nightcap if desired. This restaurant deserves its positive reputation - I'd gladly recommend it for fine dining in the heart of London.

Impressive and well appointed premier London Hotel. We were there for an Awards dinner. Food and service quickvand attentive.. Great sound system in the main function room. Great staff, always anxious to help. Well recommended

I'm not normally a hotel guy, but this one is really a treat. For so many reasons - next to a huge park (nice for running), beautiful facilities inside, a great bar and lounge and restaurant, a cute easy cafe onsite, an awesome (for a hotel) fitness center downstairs. It's just a tad further W than ideal for central London, but still just a quarter mile to all kinds of coolness and shops and restaurants. And the staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. Will def start here again!

I stayed 4 nights and had the Executive Suite Room. Excellent location across from Hyde park and just 5 minutes walking to shops and restaurants and minutes to the bus stop for the Hop on and Hop off bus which I take in every city I visit. The Hotel staff was very friendly and personable and immediately checked me into my room even though I arrived a couple hours before check in time. My room was beautiful with a large screen TV , high ceilings and the lighting throughout the Suite was very calming. I felt so comfortable and looked forward to coming back to my room after a long day of walking and touring the city. The bed was comfy and cozy with fluffy pillows and soft mattress . It had a separate living space area with a desk where I could work from and a Nespresso machine for my morning coffee. The Bedroom was nicely situated in between the bathroom and the living room so I never heard any noise from other Guests. I am very sensitive to noise and never heard any stomping around from Guests above me which I normally hear at other Hotels and is extremely annoying but not at the JW Marriott Grosvenor. The Concierge were all extremely helpful and they even had doormen to open the door for me when I would come in which I thought was a nice touch. The Club M Lounge was extraordinary with a full american style breakfast and coffee machines that could make any type of coffee drink you can imagine. They even had fresh green juices. And the nightly happy hour was above and beyond with great entrees and cheese boards galore with champagne, red wines and white wines. I ate at the hotel most of the time because the food was delicious and came included with my Suite reservation. 5 stars !!!!
