Great location, beautiful hotel with the best gym area I’ve ever seen and a nice pool. The room we were in desperately needed maintenance, however - the toilet ran constantly and needed a part replaced. The bathroom sink stopper was completely broken so we would have to go under the sink to get it to manually drain each time. The real kicker was trying to drop off keys in the morning (app was not showing my stay) and the guy working at the front desk stuck his finger in my face as an “acknowledgment” instead of asking me to even hang on for a minute, ignored me for 5 minutes while typing on his computer (again, I just needed to drop my keys and say we were checking out lol) and had the rudest service I’ve experienced anywhere, let alone a 5 star hotel. I would not stay here again given how many options are in Miami.

Love this hotel and have stayed here many times. The service, quality, and cleanliness is without compromise. I love the selection of restaurants and valet is through a simple text if you want and it’s very easy. My favorite thing about this hotel is the rooms. So high quality with great views.

Booked this hotel expecting top quality due to the 5 stars/location. Valet - so slow, 20-40 minutes to retrieve our car. There's a 24/7 parking garage in whole foods behind the hotel that is a 5 minute walk which is faster than waiting for our car. The price is similar (slightly cheaper) but at least you can access your car in time. Rooms - shower was a bit strange due to open concept, weak water pressure but very clean and nicely put together. Service/Fees - Checked in and found out the room we booked was overbooked for the night. They tried to sell us on taking one king room with a cot for 4 of us. Then they tried to give us bonus points if we take that room. After an hour of negotiating with the front desk - the night manager came out and found us an upgraded room with beds for all four of us. I think it's absurd that they would oversell rooms at a 5 star hotel. The purpose of booking a nice hotel is to sleep on a bed not a cot. While standing at the front desk - we noticed that this was the case with two other reservations that night. The rest of the stay was great, amenities were very clean until we checked out and found out that there was a resort fee tacked onto our bill for ~$200 extra USD($270 CAD) When I called to see why this was charged- the front desk lady notified me that this could have been used as a credit for food/drink which we were never told. If we had known that we had a $270 credit on our room - we would have used it at the time. Unfortunately, this left a bitter note on our stay and we will not be staying here again. We will be considering other hotels outside of this chain.

Warning- the bowling, billiard are extra cost! Bowling is $50/hour, and 25 for billiard. Pool is not kid friendly, deeper than I expected. Gym looked nice and big. We skipped some days for room cleaning but the day we did it they didn’t replenish the towels and didn’t take the trash, which was full. Good location. Walk to bayside market. Easy ride to south beach and museums.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and efficient check-in process. The front desk staff, particularly 'Dili' made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. Their professionalism and willingness to assist with any questions or requests I had set the tone for my entire visit. The quality of the room and the cleanliness of the facilities were also outstanding. It's evident that your housekeeping team takes great pride in maintaining a comfortable and immaculate environment for guests. I found my room to be not only aesthetically pleasing but also equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the standout aspects of my visit was the attentiveness of the entire hotel staff. Whether it was the concierge helping me with directions or the restaurant team ensuring that my dining experience was exceptional. Additionally, the complimentary refreshments in my room were thoughtful touches that made me feel like a valued guest. I would like to commend your entire team for their dedication to creating a memorable experience for guests. It is clear that the culture of exceptional customer service runs deep within JW Marriott downtown Miami.
