I love the hotel room design, it's spacious, colour scheme is nice, has bathtub and even has a coffee machine inside! Clean as well. It punches its weight above typical 3 star hotel (felt like 3.5) and I felt very comfortable, highly recommend Location is not as happening as XMD but pretty central still so no issues at all!

Extremely pleasant stay, would recommend. The rooms were clean, big, modern and the amenities provided were quite satisfactory. Toiletries and those kinda stuff were provided and the laundry was free. Breakfast was good too. Staff here were very hospitable and helpful. Stayed here during the winter and it was quite cold. Temperature wise the hotel isn’t the best with a thin not fully closable window and the warm ac at the time was broken. However the hotel did provide free hand warmers and the cold wasn’t that bad. Location wise, the hotel is about a 5 minute walk from minquan. w road mrt station. The hotel is on a main road so safety wasn’t a concern, Taipei itself I find is quite safe also. It is close to a lot of cheap eateries and is walkable distance to zhongshan station and the many malls there. Taking the metro to places such as ximending and Taipei main station does not take long either. About 5-10 minutes. Very good hotel☺️

Hotel is well-located on a tree-lined boulevard and very clean. Service was excellent all around. Especially a front desk clerk, Ms Chan (陳玉嬋), who was particularly helpful when I thought I lost my phone on a cab, called the hotel to ring my mobile no and she was courteous and thorough. Luckily she found it for me. Thank you so much. I will definitely come back again.

The good: * the staff is very nice and always willing to help. *Our room was very, very spacious and the bathroom was clean. * the maid did an impeccable job with the daily cleaning. * We got a daily supply of water bottles * the curtain in our room was electric, which made it easy to draw. The bad: * our room and the hallway on our floor had stained carpet. In our room, some spots looked like it was dried blood in some places, and chlorine marks in others. Same with one of the walls, it was full of streaks of dried liquid. It made us feel like we were in a seedy one-star hotel. * our hallway one day reeked of tobacco smoke. * there was virtually no option of continental breakfast. There wasn't even cold cow milk, only soy milk on some days. I had to ask for the staff to bring me some milk from the back. There was no cereal, no oatmeal. There were a few slices of very white bread, that's it. There was some limited fruit but you had to ask for a knife in order to po peel the skin off the orange or kiwi. If you like an Asian breakfast, there was a variety. They just don't seem to cater to non Asian customers. * our room had a lot of street noise,especially sirens at night.

Visited between 06 - 07 May 2023, summer season in Taipei, Taiwan. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience. This is my first stay in this hotel. The lobby is not huge but decent and reception are welcoming. We were assigned to a room on the 3rd level and it looks like a junior suites with a small living space with sofa and TV. Separated by a study desk cum partition that is where the king size bed is with another huge TV. Room is big and clean. Not much view to speak of since it's a low floor unit. Breakfast was good with good choice of food, very similar to the hotel breakfast we had in Japan. Coffee was good. Service staff are very attentive. Location is very convenient and just a short walk to the local morning market and street food and night market. Overall a good hotel to be in on your next trip to Taiwan.
