I stayed here back in 2014 for a few nights. The room was simple, but really nice, amazing views looking over the river. The location is close to Dotonbori for food and night life, but still just far enough away that it's not too loud. The best part was the gentleman who checked us in and out was amazing! I wish I could rate service as a 6/5. He took the time to find out where we were travelling to next and as it was somewhere outside of a major city, gave us transport itinerary that saved us from missing a less common train. I wish I could have thanked him more.

I really loved how spacious the room was. It had its own bathroom and an awesome view of the river. There was plenty of room to stash our bags too. Despite being in a super touristy spot, I had a great night without any outside noise. They even hooked us up with yukatas, which my brother and husband totally rocked for a dip in the onsen. What I also adored was the traditional Japanese vibe of the place. Wish I could've stayed longer and soaked in that view from the room.

We had a fantastic stay at Kaneyoshi Ryokan! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast was super tasty and the rooms were spotless. Also, you can’t beat this location. We will be staying here again when we come back to Osaka!
