I enjoyed the stay. A home away from home. Only issue was the tv local channels couldn’t be properly viewed because of transmission satellite. Foreign channels were seen properly. The technician came but said it could not be fixed at that time.The breakfast was delicious.

Unfortunately everything was horrible about this hotel. The floors were dirty and made underneath my feet black. They have obviously have not mopped the floors in a while. The glass in the bathroom had old water stains on them. The tv was the size of a tablet. If you want to feel like you’re going to boot camp then you can book here. The rules here are ridiculous. An other visitor had a problem that could not be fixed by front desk staff. Staff was rude and not polite at all. Very out dated hotel and not to mention no tv channels. Would never stay here again. I cannot wait to check out of here. Staff kept having people sign forms even if they’re not staying the night which made me upset because I’m here on vacation and my family wanted to see me and was not allowed to come up not even for 5 mins. Very stupid rules for a hotel where your supposed to feel comfortable!! I’m so upset I spent my money on this place. Not worth the money spent

When I was looking for a staycation venue for my birthday, it occurred to me that I had never been to Kapok and thought I'd give it a chance. It helped that they had a breakfast inclusive package. Due to its location, while easily accessible for transport, the same cannot be said for food. Nonetheless, it was a fairly good experience. Given it's one of the older hotels, it was a bit dated in terms of decor, but everything worked as it supposed to. The friendly Reception staff and the Kava and Tiki Village restaurants are to be commended for excellent service. A strong 7/10

My friend invited me to overnight at the hotel. She had a friend flying in for a wedding but her home wasn't ready to accommodate guests. The check in service was very friendly. The room was very cold and I couldn't figure out how to turn up the temperature. Good thing there was a kettle in the room with packets of coffee and tea. The cable TV didn't work very well. But I had my tablet and cuddled up under the blankets to watch my Korean drama. The hotel was locked after a certain hour which gave a sense of security. This my friend mentioned as she came back from the wedding after I was fast asleep. We were looking forward to our breakfast the next morning. I took the wrong stairs so the door was locked when I reached the top. I had to head back down and take the elevator. That was my cardio for the day! There was a lady serving coffee whereas I would prefer to have free access since I like several cups with breakfast. The eggs were nice and creamy, the bacon nice and crisp. Otherwise breakfast was just ok, nothing special. However I was blown away by the views from the restaurant. & it was designed to take advantage of this. I could have spent more time there. Before I knew it, it was time to check-out. I really enjoyed my staycation. Next time I have to remember to bring my socks and swim suit.
