It could be a very good hotel, but there is room for improvement! The staff is super nice and the food is generally very good. What's really annoying is that dinner is offered until 10:30 pm, but you get the feeling that the buffet is reduced in size after 8:15 pm. Certain things are simply no longer restocked and then it is dismantled in front of guests. If you arrive 30 minutes before closing time, that's certainly understandable, but over 2 hours before? When we asked whether certain things could be refilled, the empty containers were simply dismantled (and it wasn't any of the food that had been set up elsewhere!) Since the hotel is visited by many Europeans, salad dressing at the buffet would be desirable. The pool is big and the beach is really nice too. It's hard to get loungers on the beach because they are reserved by people who then don't show up all day. Since the beach is relatively small and crowded it would be nice if this could be prevented. Today half of the beach cleared itself because next to the children's pool and one part of the beach, incredibly loud music was played out of nowhere and by that I mean the volume that makes it impossible to have a conversation and which is absolutely harmful to children's ears!!! Things like that can quickly ruin your day. The dinner and music thing is really a no-go, without these points I would probably give the hotel a much better rating. I would still like to highlight the staff positively, they are really hard working and friendly. My issues with the hotel probably needs to be addressed from management and I hope my review helps to do so.

Regrettably, I fear that introducing such a rigid policy regarding towel usage may ultimately lead to a decline in patronage. I kindly request that you reconsider this decision and restore the previous practice of providing towels without requiring guests to present their ID cards or pay a deposit. This policy change not only creates an unnecessary inconvenience for patrons but also tarnishes the reputation of an otherwise excellent establishment. Moreover, I feel compelled to alert you that if this matter remains unresolved, I will be forced to cancel my subscription, as will many others who hold the hotel in high regard. It deeply saddens me to contemplate severing ties with a place that has come to be our second home, but, sadly, the recent policy concerning towels has left us greatly disappointed. I implore you to take our concerns into account and rectify this situation promptly. Providing guests with a hassle-free and comfortable experience should be at the forefront of the hotel's mission. It is disheartening to witness such a matter overshadow the otherwise remarkable services and amenities offered by Khalidiya Palace Hotel.
