All of these reviews have to be fake. The location is conveniently located in a way that makes things very walkable, however it is located on beer street. AKA you will hear music in your room until 3AM. If you go to bed late that may be fine for you, but expect be woken up at 7:15 sharp to the sound of jackhammers in your room. Even on weekends. Our room was so unbearable that it honestly gave us a headache and we left earlier in the morning than planned. I wish that this was an exaggeration. It seemed that the construction was louder in my room (double and single bed) than in my parents room (double bed). They were facing the opposite side of the building, however the sound still woke them up at 7. Aside from the noise, there were also other problems. The towels smell so strongly (cigarette smoke?) that when you put them in the bathroom, it stunk when you opened the door. It wasn’t just on one occasion, it was both days in me and my parents room that the towels smelled. Lastly, we found a large bug in our bed on the last night. By no means was I expecting a stay at the Ritz, but I could never have imagined the horror that was this hotel. Not worth the money whatsoever.

If you want to sleep, don’t stay here. Cons: Our room was only quiet from 3 am to 7 am because of loud party music at night and horrible construction in the morning. From 10 pm until 3 am, the room shook with the sounds of karaoke and party music. At 7:15 am Saturday morning, it sounded like there was jackhammering in our room. I wouldn’t recommend until the construction is over. I put in ear plugs and had a pillow over my head. Did not help. Overall, I did not feel as though the room was super clean. The room felt musty, the towels had a strange smell, and I found a bug in my bed. Pros: The staff was kind and welcoming. The beds were comfortable. Location is good, however it is loud.

The staffs are friendly and the hotel location is good. However, every night between 10pm to 2am, regardless weekdays or weekends, the room will be filled with the music and walls vibrating from the bass sound from neighboring pub/ club. What’s worst is that there is construction work in the neighboring building the whole day. Overall, this is a great location for a short and budget stay. Not recommended for light sleepers and long stay.

I believe a lot of these reviews are fake. After a lot of bad experiences in Hanoi I booked here hoping for a better experience. I booked a king-size room with a window. When I went to check in I was told I was getting an upgrade to a family room. I paid and made my to the room upon entering I could see this wasn't an upgrade at all. There was no window and it looked like a prison cell. I went back to reception to say I wanted the room I paid for and was told it wasn't available. This is a common occurrence in Hanoi amongst all the hotels. I demanded a refund and left.
