This was overall a disappointing experience despite the kind early check in. We “trialled” the hotel for one night. They provided us with a room with a small bed even though we had booked a king bed. On advising them of this, they agreed that we had booked a king bed and offered a variety of discounts and add-ons that we did not want, mostly where we needed to spend money first. They did not offer the room booked as they said it was “only one night!” We had the buffet lunch there. Give it a miss, it’s very poor quality. One of the offers made was a discount on meals. When we called the assistant manager to activate the discount, he said (contrary to earlier text)-“only for dinner” and declined to honour the discount previously offered. Bad form. It was only a small amount, added insult to injury with a clear offer reneged on. This large hotel, tired in places seems stuck in the past and not striving to stay aware, relevant or provide excellent service. Thumping, loud head banger music by the pools all day which can be heard on the beach, average staff, aircon that is freezing and did not respond to change attempts and missing room towels (that came when we asked). It’s a future pass for us.

Awesome view of the Caribbean sea, swimming in the blue water and enjoying the sea breeze and white sand was a love. The view from the 9th floor was spectacular 👌. It complimented the rustic and very comfortable interior. I wasn't in awe at first, but later on I was. For an All in inclusive hotel, everything was grand - making the bed, replacing the towels and mini fridge items each day, just the menu needs changing up a bit for visitors staying there for a week. The dishes were great and I enjoyed a different side from my usual country dishes. Customer services was excellent. Keep up the good work guys.

The Krystal Grand Cancun All Inclusive hotel provided an exceptional experience during our second visit. While suggesting a slight update for the bathrooms and amenities due to their outdated feel, the overall impression remains positive. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, with potent drinks, satisfactory pool food, and outstanding restaurants. Notably, the extra indulgence of planning a beachfront dinner with Krystal Grand was truly worthwhile, adding a special touch to our memorable stay.

Building is outdated, needs new paint job, floors swept, more lighting in lobby and all rooms. Reception is slow and unskilled, providing different answers. Elevators slow and don't work. Door key access doesn't work sometimes, requiring us to re-program most of the time, very inconvenient. Room towel not enough for all guests. When calling from room for service, no one answers. Very limited restaurant choices (only 3) and reservations all taken up in 5min, guests end up eating at buffet. Food at buffet not interesting (bland, only Mexican food, few varieties, and same thing everyday). The coffee shop says Starbucks but no Starbucks products available. Drinks are all watered down. Pool doesn’t have heater, so it's super cold to swim in it in Dec, hence no one swims. Lacks entertainment and activities during the day and evening. Game room is limited to few hours not all day (3-8pm), kids got bored. Only 1 fire and 1 Mayan show per week, other nights no shows, the evening is dull, we had to go to town. NYE party is OK, no shows, DJ played too much latin songs. The only thing positive is the staff who are very friendly on food services and at the beach. The location is great, walking distance to nearby clubs and shopping; beachfront access to water. Paid for all-inclusive for 4 nights, Dec 28-Jan 2, ave $138/night/pp. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend.
