La Foresteria Luxury Rooms & Suite

Worthy of a motel, this establishment is to be avoided! Room not clean, painting to be redone and mattress of the bed dug, No soundproofing, no shower for 24 hours. On our arrival, I decide to take a shower and by opening the door normally, this one leaves the frame. I call the reception directly and the employee calls his boss then tells me that we have to deal with it until the next morning. The glass door could slip if the floor got wet so it was dangerous! We asked him for another room, a discount or a refund but he refused everything. He then handed us the phone to talk to the manager and he was unpleasant and unprofessional telling us that it was our fault and that we would pay for it. I then asked the receptionist to make a paper signing that we had not broken the shower (he told me that it is true that the door had already had some problems) and he started to do it but when calling the boss he asked him not to do it and the receptionist closed all the lights of the reception and told me that now he was leaving and that I had to manage until the next day. The next morning a girl receptionist told us that the plumber would come for lunch. When we came back at 4pm nothing was fixed and at the reception, it was the receptionist from the day before so we told him and he told us "I don't want to talk to you, we had enough talking yesterday". We were shocked and the receptionist sent for a fireman 3 hours later. We were nice and correct from the beginning to the end. Booking asked them to compensate us but they never answered and said that they didn't speak English (although they spoke English with us)

Great location, first time visiting rome and the location of the accommodation couldn’t have been any better. The room was very modern, clean and spacious. We plan to visit again next year and hopefully be able to book the same place to stay.
