This hotel is located only a few blocks away from the colleseum making for an easy walk to the subway and the main attractions of the city. The service was amazing and there was a free breakfast every morning as well as the staff being super friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice, however there were a few things that were not working. Notably the toilet had a leaking seal in the one room and the lighting didn't work that was around the bed. Understanding that things break though, I'd definitely recommend staying here on any visit to Rome.

We enjoyed an excellent breakfast with the most buttery, flaky croissants, great service, and a jacuzzi that we didn’t pay for. We also appreciated the owner calling us a taxi when it was time to leave. On top of this, the area is absolutely, stunningly, beautiful - and close to the colosseum.

immediately. Upon arriving, we were given the wrong room, we were disappointed as the whole premise of irooms are the various themes it offers. We booked ITube and were instead given IZen. We contacted the manager and explained we were given the wrong room- he replied saying “We made the change believing that a larger room would be to your liking. We are sorry if this was not the case.” I called to explain we wanted the room we originally booked as we liked the features. Plus the IZen was extremely outdated, had dirty walls, some bugs, a bent toilet seat, and the main door was very hard to close as it got stuck on the wall. Giulio told us we could move rooms the following morning. The next morning we received a text stating that the iroom customers would be leaving the NEXT day and then we could switch. Not only did Giulio lie about the day we could switch, he also lied about the reason for not giving us the room we booked- he had said he thought we would like the bigger (albeit worse) room- when in reality he had double booked. We were only staying 4 nights, so half the time wasn’t in the room on our booking, we asked for a refund only to be met with arguments, lies and false accusations(when he realized we weren’t going to let it go, he accused me of slamming doors in the building, saying he had it all on camera). Finally after days of requests, he agreed to give a partial refund, in exchange for us leaving one day early, even sent a fake receipt of the refund. We left a day early, it has been a month and we still haven’t received it. Upon contacting him, we were left on read and ignored.

A total scam!!! I had booked a room for 2 people with jacuzzi and breakfast included. Hours before check-in, I was informed that there had been an error and they would change my room for a "better one." The place did not look like the photos, everything was very dirty, smelled of rubbish and damp, super noisy, the air conditioning did not work, the light switches did not work and the room had half of the things that the description said. The breakfast is brought to your room. It is not a lounge as shown in the pictures. They offer a time range to bring the breakfast which they do not comply. I requested 8.30 am, which was as early as possible. One day it was delivered at 9.00 am and the other at 10.00 am. Anyway it was not something according to the price that I paid, old products and poor quality. I have breakfast in a bar outside the hotel. The room was extremely noisy. The only positive thing was that they were offered earplugs, but it was not enough. Everything was full of dust and marks hands from other guests. The only thing clean was the towels because they changed them every day. To close the review, they were contacted to me to delete my opinion because it was aggressive and that "I had mistaken the place." They have 4 buildings in Rome. Do not be fooled by the pictures because it is not the reality. Go to another hotel and not with these scammers!

We booked a room here but at the last moment, they sent me a WhatsApp informing me that they have a problem and we have to change the building and room. They informed me that the room in which they were going to change us was better than the one we had reserved and this was not true because the room that we reserved had more amenities. Everything was not what we booked and expected! The breakfast was small. 2 croissants, 2 pieces of bread (one day with hair included), a cup with small pieces of cut fruit, and 2 slices of dry pudding. Overall place and room were very dirty, run-down, and nothing like the photos and SMELT OF DAMP!!! The door at the front of the room slams shuts and you can hear people in the corridor so it was not a pleasant stay at all. Was very noisy! The room was dark and dingy. The price was a lot compared to another hotel (230€ per night for two people) and I am sure that the others hotels have better quality! You can drink only coffee for breakfast. You don't have milk and no tea. You shouldn't book this hotel, please save your money and go elsewhere as it's nothing like the reviews. It's a lie! This was in iRooms Campo dei Fiori because iRooms has several branches.
