This hotel was AWFUL! The photos and descriptions online did not match our experience at all. We paid for a deluxe room with access to the hot tubs and rooftop views. The whole building was covered in scaffolding (Oct 2022) so you couldn't see anything and the hot tubs were not even turned on. Despite booking directly through the hotel website, they gave away our room and put us in a less expensive room. The water in the shower was so hot we couldn't stand under it (even on the coldest setting). The reception staff is friendly, but they were only available from 8am-6pm and they don't answer the after hours emergency phone number. On our final night, the doors to the hotel were not closed and a homeless man came in, pooped all over the hallway floors, locked the elevator on a different floor, and chased me up the stairs so we were trapped in our hotel room for 2.5 hours waiting for the police and we almost missed our flight home. We had our one year old daughter with us and felt very unsafe. For the amount we spent on this hotel, we could have stayed somewhere much nicer. It was a really disappointing ending to an otherwise amazing trip.

In the middle of our stay at the moment but I cannot recommend this place enough. We booked far in advance and got a lovely room with breakfast, on the roof top terrace, every morning for amazing value! It’s within walking distance to everything you need to see in Rome, there are 2 hot tubs on the roof terrace which have amazing views. The staff are just great, so helpful and go out of their way for you. We are enjoying our stay here so much and we thank the staff at Relais Badoer for being so accommodating.

All staff were extremely friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for a week, booked two rooms and were very impressed. Immaculately clean and a plentiful supply of clean towels, our room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was great too. great location, bright, spacious rooms, beautiful sun terrace, amazing staff. Only change would be for less chlorine in the hot tub… was in it once and my skin has taken weeks to recover.
