It brings me some satisfaction you are reading this review, hopefully as a potential customer, because my family didn’t read the reviews and came based on reputation of the restaurant. First, the food - the omelette costs €45, and somehow makes truffles and eggs feel like a bland punishment. To be sure, the chef is skilled and the preparation is appealing but the taste is bland except when it is bitter. The shrimp starter was good as was the mushrooms. Dessert was fine. But it’s simply impossible to get past the fact that the signature dish is as overpriced as it is underwhelming. The meal cost us €200 for a family of four without alcohol which is unfathomable even taking into account the location. I would hope I wouldn’t have more to mention,but the upstairs dinning room the toilets adjacent are disgusting. There are huge “dust bunnies” under the tables, and even the staircase itself hasn’t seen a vacuum in recent memory. The staff manages to combine brisk efficiency with judgmental rudeness. I would hope that eating a special meal would be an experience that people would remember as a time they enjoyed something unique in a pleasant and bright space. Our family will remember today for its expense, blandness and a shocking lack of cleanliness.

Came here to try the famous omelette (45€), but we were really disappointed. It looked good, but did not taste like anything special. We also ordered menu with lamb, but it was very chewy and not that soft. Another moment is that the knives that we had were not sharp at all. The staff was welcoming and nice, although we had to wait for quite some time to get our order. Perfect egg served as starter was delicious. Apple crumble desert was not good at all. We also had chocolate desert with ice cream and it was great.

First time back after more than 10 years. Took my friend and he loved it. The food is really good. The specialty dish, the omelet is delicious. I had it with a side of mushrooms and it was perfect. The service is excellent, our waiter Terence is very kind. The open kitchen at the entrance is a plus! Everyone is very friendly and very professional.

I here review the restaurant. The restaurant room is nice with vintage pictures of previous prestigious guests. The omelettes have a very nice and unique texture. Nevertheless they were not seasoned, which is a joke at that price. One seasons an omelette at heart, before cooking. Other reveiling clue: no salt shaker or pepper pot in sight. Apparently the owners are concerned about people's hypertension, but why bothering doing such fancy recipes to end up with such a bland dish? A big letdown.

I really think this restaurant is full of hype. The food is OK, but it is overpriced. Most staff are nice and courteous, especially the young lady who served our table. One of the older server was pretty arrogant and unhelpful. With the kind of price they are charging, staff manner would have been essential. Then that famous omelette we were queueing for... tasted very similar to a typical hotel breakfast with softer creamier texture. But at €45 a piece? Grossly overated.
