We dined at the hotel restaurant which was superb. The welcome we received given we were not residents was warm & kind. The staff were truly lovely. The food was fine but the wine was superb. This is the first time for dinner but we lunched here last summer. Highly recommended.

Came here for part of our honeymoon, it was perfect. The hotel was extremely clean, plus the location can’t be beat. It’s only a 10-minute bike ride from old town, plus is directly overlooking a stone beach that was ideal for a quick beach day and swimming in the sea. If you are thinking about visiting Nice, would highly recommend booking a stay (with a view of the sea).

Very nice hotel with good location and big parking lot. It is perfect if you plan to travel by car but the nearby beach is small and uncomfortable to enter without special shoes. Nor far from the city center, especially by taxi: 10-15 minutes drive, many cafes nearby and a big for store. The hotel doesn't pay attention to birthday celebration even though they have your passport details. I expected at least a small compliment. Besides this, the rest is fine. And please book the hotel restaurant in advance if you want to eat there as there are no availability if not booked.

Just back from a wonderful stay at the Hotel Saint Paul in Nice (July 20 to 23). Great value for the money. The highlight, hands down, were the lunches and dinners at the restaurant - breathtaking views of the sea, impeccable service (David was fantastic) and absolutely amazing food. Just slightly out of the hustle and bustle of old Nice, but within walking distance and a very close bus stop. Just in front of the hotel is your own beach! Can't wait to go again!

I spent two nights at le Saint Paul. I initially wanted to give a 5 star review because the rooms are great, and the food at the restaurant is perfectly done. Unfortunately I had an extremely unpleasant encounter with a female receptionist. On my last night I went to the reception to ask if we could have a bottle of water. At first she asked me if I was a guest at the hotel (valid question), I confirmed that I was and instead of asking me for my room number she smirked and said “really?”. I asked if she didn’t believe me and she said that she had never seen me before even though I greeted her on three different times when I walked past her during the day. It is very painful to be treated like a criminal when you are a paying guest. It was a horrible way to end what could have been an amazing stay in Nice. I don’t recommend coming to this hotel if you are non-white.
