Legends Hostel

Horrifying experience / Unprofessional and irresponsible attitude. I arrived at the hostel at midnight due to a flight delay. The receptionist accompanied me to the room. The two men staying in that room immediately started to enjoy the fact that I would sleep in the same room with them. They asked the receptionist about my nationality, and then they made some guesses and enjoyed their assumptions in a disturbing manner. I must also note that the room looks much smaller than the photos, and the beds are closer to each other. When I told the receptionist that I did not feel safe and I did not want to sleep there, he called another person from the hostel administration. The person on the phone was not helpful, on the contrary, she was rude and told me that I chose to stay in a mixed room. I travel alone a lot, and I always stayed in mixed rooms in hostels. I know what is acceptable and what is not. Then the receptionist took me outside telling me that he had to leave. They did not take any responsibility for finding me an alternative accommodation, they were okay to leave me outside at 1 am. Their messages in our subsequent exchanges were also far from acknowledging the real problem and their responsibilities as an international hostel. They did not cooperate with me in any way and were not willing to refund me any money. (Another note: They only accepted cash and did not provide an invoice for the late check-in fee and city tax at the moment of payment, which is a common practice for them as I saw from the reviews here and on google maps.) Instead, they dismissed my experience and kept telling me in the following messages that it was okay to stay in that room because these men were good people(!). I do not know anything about those men apart from their harassing comments BUT it must be clear that, if I felt safe, I would not accept staying outside at 1 am after paying for everything and without any alternative accommodation.
