Advertised as Luxury Apartments... They are not! The ceiling in the showers literally flake and fall, while you are showering because they have an issue with the piping above. We asked to leave but they offered us two other rooms to look at. They also had similar issues but not as bad. We were told, it's a common problem in these apartments. The dishes and utensils are very limited ie: No bowls or tea spoons, for a start. The beds in both apartments that we stayed in were very uncomfortable and noisy, when turning at night or getting up out of bed. They have poor sound insulation. It's a very noisy area. Construction works were in progress through the day ,across the street (jack hammering after 12am at night). It's situated on a steep, narrow road so cars and motorcycles are accellerating to climb, which brings us to the agony of going for a walk with the family... It's not pleasant! The security boys in the lobby are quite diligent at their job , and pleasant to deal with, as was the Iranian house keeper, who spoke very little English. I was fooled by the many 5 start comments but I honestly can't see how people could be impressed by their stay their. We asked for a refund for the remainder of the stay but they refused. Don't do it, find elswhere. This is an honest appraisal. I have photos and even videos of the condition and the noises from the street and construction.

We stayed at 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen to have a full family experience. Front desk stuff was very welcoming and helpful: allowing to check in early after a 10 hour flight, arranging airport transfers, extending our stay on a short notice... In other words, service was the best. Room, however, was quite modest. One towel per person per 3 days, sigarete but holes on the couch, shampoo and soap only for toiletries. Cleanness could be improved as well. Felt uncomfortable and sticky to walk barefoot on the floor. Housekeeping once in 3 days. Hotel amenities: pool and sauna are only open 9am-7pm, and if you are busy exploring the city, there is really no time to enjoy it. Location is close to Taksim (aka transportation hub), but on the bottom of the hill. My father is in the wheelchair and the hill was just too steep to push him up, so we ended up taking a taxi every day anyway. Great deal for families, close to Taksim, but have to walk up the steep hill.

It was a bad experience , I came to tour not to clean this place, it has a sticky floor , dusty old sheets , bad smell, and there wasn’t anything good to mention.I was really shocked.

We had done an contract for 1 year but before 6 months, the proprietor has ordered that we leave this appartement. It was the choc ! Also, one of the responsable has accepted to do us our stay permit but we have received a non acceptation from the permit office … why ? because this hotel can not stipulate that they rent appartements so, we have been obligated to pay an amend to stay longer in the country. If we want some menage, we have to pay more. Frequently the is tabac smelling. We have also to buy kettle, dishes, knives, forks, spoons, and so on… Their approach is kind but we can be surprised by the time … Be vigilant

We have stayed at Leylak suits for two weeks. We had a pleasant stay. The building was very clean and we enjoyed using the swimming pool and the steam room. The managers were very nice and welcoming but the highlight of our stay was the helpfullness of Yasmin. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She speaks very good English which was a big bonus. I will definitely stay at Leylak in my next visit to Istanbul. Doha & Yousif
