Hosts are perfect and work hard to keep the guests happy rooms spotlessly clean and the breakfast is very good and they cannot do enough for you really enjoyable stay for my husband and I .

Stayed here from wowcher deal, wish we never bothered, ruined my birthday, I am disabled and asked for lowest floor and was so rudely told “it’s too inconvenient for our other guest so no” like I did not matter and out of spite was put on the top floor. Was charged an extra £20 for weekend but we was only there mon - fri which last time I checked are week DAYS! Wi-Fi is not free and have to pay £3 a day which we declined, cooked breakfast is not included and costs £4 per person per day 9 - 9:30am. Mattress was old and lumpy with springs digging in. Dirty floor with previous guests hairs sticking to my feet after a shower, also hairs in shower. Hot Water was shut off several times in the evening as we came back to refresh before night out, or to shower after a long day and night out. No wardrobes at all just a hanger rack to high for me to reach (I’m 5”7) had odd bit of wood put together for a makeshift shelf, 70’s paper in drawers which has seen better days. I had great difficulty getting to my room every day to the point my ankles had swollen so badly I had to cancel a day out and go a&e. ended up with a walking stick, and having to hire a mobility scooter as I could not walk which in turn had made the rest of my holiday more difficult as there was things I could not do !! the stairs are to steep and narrow. Despite being asked to go on lowest level !! Walls are very thin and for the 5 night there all we heard is people next door making a racket and then snoring ALL NIGHT LONG !! Was not aloud to bring in any food. Breakfast does not have much of a continental option just mini muffins and croissants. The man is very rude and obnoxious, was very intimidating and tried to bully me to take down review on trip advisor, the woman is very nosey, and on my actual birthday we tried leaving and she would not stop talking. And followed us outside, it felt very awkward, missed our cab and had to order another. We did not enjoy our stay, it ruined my birthday and holiday. Not happy at all and will never come back !!!

Dear emma giggins,you did indeed stay with us FOUR years ago before the pandemic, you were treated with the utmost kindness and respect as all our guests, your husband and mine got on so well talking about construction sat outside on our bench ,most evenings, as that is his job in London ,to which he was enjoying the stay. You forget to mention from women to woman your extreme obesity size, which does have it problems .when you checked in All our lower rooms were occupied 2 days before. Sorry to say Emma you need to get a life, THIS WAS FOUR YEARS AGO ,Maybe you're going to keep going with this review year after after yeaaaaaaar

Where to start the host are amazing really chatty and willing to help any way possible they give advice of places you could go the down side is how loud some guest where at 12.30 am vanging doors talking loudly till way after one another thing the room got damp during the night leaving bedding damp and smelling musky and the social club music was pumping till gone 12am
