I can give this hotel a solid 4 stars for two reasons, its location and its great value compared to other hotels in the area. First, this hotel is located in an upscale area of Bangkok with tons of shopping, malls, bars, and restaurants within easy walking distance. A small shopping center with cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and a grocery store is literally right across the street. It’s only a 3 minute walk to the large and beautiful Lumphini Park, also. The hotel is set back away from the main street, which means that you don’t hear all of the traffic noise, too. Secondly, this hotel is an amazing value in comparison to other hotels in the area, having large suites available for half of the price of a standard room in any other decent hotel within a few blocks radius. Our suite was huge, with a large comfortable bed, sitting area, mini kitchen with a dining table and large fridge, a dressing area with large closets, and a large bathroom with a tub and shower. I admit that we were pleasantly surprised by the size and spaciousness of the room. The pool is fairly nice, too. Room service is available. The staff is friendly and helpful, and most of them speak good English. The hotel rooms are very clean, but I couldn’t rate it 5 stars overall because, like many older hotels in the area, it suffers a little from lack of good maintenance. It’s a bit rough around the edges in some ways, but I would still stay here again because nothing is too noticeable or intolerable. I would definitely recommend it for travelers who are budget conscious and just looking for a great room in a great location in Bangkok.

Great location here! Near Siam, Chit Lom (so shopping is accessible) and the blue line MRT (so Chinatown and temples were accessible). Opposite the road there’s a quiet mall with some cafes. 2 7-11 stores and 1 Starbucks was nearby. If you’re bringing heavy stuff, the pavement goes up and down quite a lot, so suggest you take taxi. Otherwise okay to walk. Service is also good - free flow of tea, hot cocoa and coffee in the morning till noon I think. Microwave is also available. Staff very friendly. There is a pool and bar though I didn’t use those. Within the room there’s a bathtub, very spacious. There’s also a lot of room to put luggage, a vanity area and a couch to sit on

The location to be quite convenient and great value, Velaa Sindhorn Village just next to me, and the room was spacious with a balcony, which was a nice touch. However, I was disappointed to discover that there were no master light buttons, so I had to turn off the lights individually. On the bright side, they did provide a smart TV. Unfortunately, the room itself seemed quite old and in need of renovation. The lighting was inadequate, making it difficult for me to locate my belongings, especially at night. Additionally, the sound insulation was poor, as I could hear everything happening next to my door. This lack of privacy was quite bothersome.

Considered staying here but upon reaching, quickly decided against it. Absolutely abysmal decor, dilapidated lifts and lobby. Front desk has no English literacy whatsoever. The other reviews are correct. This is not a four star hotel by any means. The bar on the second floor (4th Wall), run by the same guys as Vesper, is the only saving grace here and I highly recommend giving the bar a try. But avoid staying at the hotel itself.

DON'T STAY HERE. This is not a 4 star hotel, maybe it was 10 years ago when it opened. Wi-Fi sucks, beds are hard, bugs in the room, mold in the bathroom, elevator doors close on you, and room doesn't have enough lighting. They are currently doing construction by the pool area and there's a lot of noise, plus there's smell of paint. The smell is so strong and hits you the minute you open hotel's door. The furniture is dirty, carpet is coming undone, doors don't close properly, it's falling apart. It's honestly just disgusting.
