We have stayed in 2 different rooms at this hotel. The first was well planned and in the 7th floor. Wow - incredible view with gorgeous windows that open. Decor is super modern and chic creating this immaculate vibe that makes you want to order room service and have a slow morning. Bedding was very comfortable. Room service was excellent. The bar & restaurant downstairs are very inviting and cozy, offering great craft cocktails, fa beyond the expectations of your typical hotel bar. Staff all around were incredibly nice and helpful. Lots of detail was put into every corner of the hotel. My only complaint is room temperature. No matter what you set the temperature to, rooms stay more or less around 72F. Without significant airflow, it feels pretty hot getting in the way of comfortable sleeping. This is the only thing that keeps my review at 4 stars instead of 5.

Hotel was AMAZING! Perfect location for what I needed. Always greeted with a smile and salutation when entering and exiting the hotel. Hotel and bar staff were AWESOME! Staff were attentive and welcoming. Bar was quaint and great for a meet up. Unfortunately, it’s the restaurant staff I had concerns with. Restaurant was empty so not busy AT ALL and I was a solo diner. Although very nice, my order came not prepared as listed on the menu. Although the waiter did ask if I wanted them to recook the with correct ingredient, I was turned off at this point and needed to leave soon to catch my train. Waiter never asked if I wanted a drink and never asked about dessert; I was actually looking forward to their delicious banana bread. $21 could have turned to a $50 check if the waiter had just been more in tuned. I will come back to stay but I will NOT be using the restaurant.

The Lyle staff was very accommodating for my last minute stay and provided a much needed early check in. The room was clean and well equipped with all essentials. I only wish there was a full size mirror. The view from my suite was also lovely. Nestled between a quiet side street and lively Main Street, you get the best of both worlds. Limitless dining options in walking distance and various local shops to explore. The hotel also provides secure access to the elevator by room key only.

I am on day 3 of a 4 night stay. From the minute the Valet greeted us at the door until this very moment (eating breakfast in hotel) I have seen the staff bend over backwards to make everyone feel valued and special. All staff have been so helpful and cheerful! The only reason the room gets 4 stars is because the beige carpet is heavily stained. The hotel is aware and said it is on the list to be replaced. They even offered to give us a different room, but we chose to stay. Hotel is for us - a short walk to the White House, Capital building etc (about 1.5 miles). The hotel is between two neighborhoods with a very fun vibe and neat restaurants. One of the neighborhoods appears to be very gay pride friendly. I am totally loving this place!
