When greeted at the front desk, I got no smile, no welcome, no feeling of being welcomed. The gentleman who parked me car for me was very friendly and so was the person who brought up room service--food was mediocre. The room was fine but nothing special. There was a small roll of toilet paper and no extra. Left over make up container for the last guest on the floor of the bathroom. Appeared to be "cleaned" in a rush because bathroom mirror still partially dirty. No cups were left in the room for me to make coffee in the in room machine. Honestly, none of the "issues" would have bothered me if the person who greeted me at the front desk had made me feel welcome and not a burden. It set the tone. I would have given 1 star but for the two gentlemen who were so nice. Hope you improve because I stayed here 10 years ago and had a very different experience.

Unbelievably poor customer service experience. I'll begin by saying I didn't stay at the hotel - this review is based on a future reservation that the hotel canceled. Long story "short," I'm a government employee and hotels often offer special gov. rates. Further, some properties allow you to book more than one room under the rate, while others limit it to just to the employee. I called the hotel to inquire about their policy and was expressly advised I could book rooms for myself and others in my family who I was traveling with. I booked the rooms and in the meantime, the group rate for the event we are attending expired. Several days later I received an email from corporate advising the rooms would be billed at a rate even higher than what's listed on sites such as expedia and only I would receive the discount rate. I called several times to speak with the hotel about this but no one ever called me back. I was finally able to speak with a front desk supervisor who fully understood our predicament and wanted to honor the rates but before he could do so, needed to speak with his manager. Two days later he called and said no such luck (still no direct call from management). Now we're stuck scrambling to find accommodations and will end up paying more because we can no longer book under our own group rate at a nearby property. Yes - I understand the hotel is acting pursuant to its fine print policy but on a customer service level, it's about as bad as it gets.

Beds were comfortable. The staff was great. Starting to look worn along door jams and the door to open the bathroom needs to allow easier opening. The biggest concern is the stop from the shower to the floor. It gets SLICK and almost fell this last trip stepping down. The bar/restaurant served the end piece of the bread on my rubber, which is off putting and staff was more focused on wedding that night. Love the courtyard and location. Enjoy beautiful old building.

Excellent stay, customer service and nice location! My girlfriend and I booked this room for my Bday trip and enjoyed it. Our room was not available upon arrival and that was understandable due to us arriving at 1230 pm. The front desk contacted me via phone when it was ready and check-in was smooth. There was fresh fruit in the lobby to eat as well. We had an amazing room and it was clean. There was only one restaurant/bar at the hotel, however, we never did go to check it out. We enjoyed the courtyard and there were employees planning for a wedding on the following day. (we got to get a glimpse of the bride/groom taking pictures :-). Pros: Robe was available to purchase, Microwave and ice bags were available and the shuttle to the airport was on point. Only cons: need a POOL! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again.
