It was very affordable and the place is close to tourist attractions but it’s also disgusting. It is located in a very local and not so nice neighborhood and as soon as you enter can feel a strong and terrible smell of cigarettes. I expected the room to be cleaner, the bed sheets had stains and the shower doesn’t have a curtain so soon the whole bathroom is flooded. I recognize it’s cheap but I didn’t feel comfortable.

If you wanna sleep with the bugs and the dirt this may be a good hotel. If you are coming to istanbul to enjoy your vacation do not reserve this hotel!! The amount of dirt found in the bed sheet you cannot imagine! Do not even try to reserve this hotel, i stayed for one night and they refused to refund me. This review is to help people save the stress.

This is the place to stay in downtown Istanbul for the location, value, and cultural experience. The staff is fantastic and so is the mascot Sheila. I stayed for over a week and really felt at home and comfortable. The surrounding neighborhoods are fascinating, with authentic shops, good food, and walkable to the mosques and major attractions like the bazaar.
