Great location in the centre of Port Douglas - moments walk to everything, but also at the quiet end of town. Room had everything we needed. Looking/feeling a little dated but nothing too bad. Bed was very comfy. We left our iPad behind and the owners managed to find another guest, who lives up the road from us in Sydney, to bring it back for us! Great service, quick thinking by the staff.

The rooms were clean and nice (apart from fake flower decorations in the rooms?). When we checked in I was asked for my credit card and to settle the bill. We had paid a one night deposit when we booked. We were rather surprised about this, I have never been asked anywhere to settle the bill for a 5 night stay in advance. Our room was on the second floor, we had to take the suitcases up ourselves, as Ken said he could not help anymore, his back was bad. After having checked out, and having to wait for the transfer to the airport, my wife asked if she could use a toilet which was denied.

A hidden Gem As I travel a lot for work, I was looking for a place that felt more like home than a sterile hotel. I loved the position near the beach and great restaurants. The place is clean no smoking and adults only. I couldn’t have picked a better place to have my break. It’s a self contained beautiful Tuscan apartment block. Everyone is friendly and management are so helpful and willing to go that extra mile. I would highly recommend this place
