I stayed at Mathis Ubud for a week: the hotel was full so it was a little bit noisy and not really "so relaxing" (families, kids around all day long). BUT the hotel is well equipped with modern facilities, Terra Cotta restaurant has yummy food: I stayed in a bungalow which was spacious with a comfy bed (very large bed). The location is about 10 min with Grab from Ubud centre so very convenient and there's many shops, restaurants, spas and other establishments on the road to perfect your stay. Big thank you to the always smiley and welcoming staff

We stayed 2 nights in the wonderful MATHIS Retreat in Ubud. We just had an amazing time. After spending one night in the busy center of Ubud this beautiful and calm oasis in the rice fields was exactly what we were looking for! We got a bungalow with garden view. Everything was so well looked after, clean and most of all: peaceful with very comfortable beds. The wifi was fast enough to work and the food in the restaurant food was delicious. All the staff members were super friendly and very helpful. The location is great. Close to Ubud center and still in the middle of nature, so that you can stroll along the green rice fields and explore the nearby restaurants. Only 12 min walk away is one of the worlds most famous dessert restaurants: "Room4Dessert". You might know it also from the Netflix series the "chefs table". We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Hotel and hope that we could come back on day.

I kept extending and extending and extending my stay. The views are amazing, room very comfortable. Breakfast and all the food is very tasty. All the staff make your stay phenominal. They make you never want to leave this place.

We had a 2 night stay in Mathis Retreat, the staff was really friendly and kind, we had a welcome drinks at the arrival, that was so nice. The room was clean and with a lot of space, you will have complimentary tea/coffee/water. Location is a little off from Ubud center, but hotel is organizing shuttle to center and back. Terra Cotta restaurant the food was so delicious, a lot of options to choose from in breakfast, and dinner was the best, best seafood that we had tried. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Mathis Retreat and 100% would recommend to others.
