Disappointing Stay at Monroe Hotel Bahrain – Not Recommended As a local guide, I regret to say that I cannot recommend Monroe Hotel Bahrain for any kind of stay. While the location is a positive aspect, other crucial facilities fell short of expectations, warranting a mere two-star rating. The rooms, unfortunately, did not meet the standard one would expect. The quality of the beds left much to be desired, lacking the comfort and cleanliness essential for a pleasant stay. Maintenance issues were apparent, and the overall condition of the rooms did not reflect a well-kept establishment. The pool, which can be a highlight for many guests, did not live up to expectations. Whether it was cleanliness concerns or a lack of proper amenities, the overall pool experience was disappointing. Despite the central location, the shortcomings in room quality and amenities overshadow any convenience the hotel’s placement may offer. For those seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay, exploring alternative accommodations in Bahrain may be a more satisfying choice.

I stayed recently and had to cut my stayed shut. The pool was not operational and the whole place was far different from the pictures displayed. I had dinner the first night and food was poor. Tough chewy lamb chops, cold chips. And indeferent host. The TV reception was poor, carpets in room very dated. It was a very unpleasant stay.

The spa there is good. They have the best massage ever. There is a girl called pami she is the best. She know her Job. I was having problem with my shoulder she fix it so thank you

The hotel was super dirty and different from the photos. There was only one towel and when I enquirer another one - they brought the one with the hole. There were no face/hand/feet towels at all. Just one big towel that was falling apart. The room was dirty and the furniture was falling apart. The sanitary ware had rust and lime scale. Nothing was cleaned. I had paranoia while sleeping that there might be bugs in the mattress! Hopefully there were none. This is not a 4* hotel at all. It’s is reasonable in price but it is horrible in maintaining. I highly recommend to avoid this hotel, only if you are ready to live in such an unpleasant room. There was a friendly staff and they helped to carry my luggage to the room.
