Beautiful hotel with fantastic service. We arrived an hour early, lucky for us our room was ready and staff had no problem checking us in early. Beautiful common areas. Nice cold pool many beautiful nooks to sit and have coffee. Bathroom & room are clean. Complimentary robes, towels, shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, shower cap, soap, tea and coffee are available. WiFi isn’t great in our room, but I do not complain. I’d rather sit in the beautiful common spaces instead!

A great boutique hotel in Old City/Town. Small lobby area but staff is well versed in English. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Housekeeping was also good. Nice pool, though located in the shade most of the day. When walking through the corridor it was warm during the day. I was located on the fourth floor I stayed in an Executive Suite which had two beds. Very room. A balcony with a view of the pool. A/C in the room. You could see the wear and tear a bit.

We loved our stay at Moon Dragon Hotel. It is a super convenient location in the Old City, with plenty of restaurants and stores around. The room was sparkly clean, with great AC and a TV with Netflix, perfect for winding down after a long day of exploring around the city. We did not use the pool, but it looked beautiful and inviting. Check-in was effortless, and they held our luggage in reception as we arrived early.

It took me a while to find a place in Chiang Mai where I could stay and walk to almost everything and I have to say finding Moon Dragon was the best decision ever. I have stayed there twice in the span of 4 months. The staff are so friendly and very accommodating (first time I landed late and when I called they were so nice and telling me not to worry and second time they changed my room when it had twin beds). The rooms are very spacious and clean. I had a balcony facing the road which I loved as I could see the Sunday walking Market but if you are a light sleeper, stay away. The hotel is literally walking distance to many of the main attractions and you have a 7Eleven and money exchange as well. I can go on and on about why you should stay here. As a solo female traveller I was totally at ease and relaxed here. The staff keeps the hotel very clean.
