Booked to stay here for a couple of nights at the beginning of December. If we were to visit Blackpool again then we would definitely stay again. From the moment you ring the doorbell and Janette answers, you feel so welcome. Janette introduced herself, we had a little talk and we were then shown to our room. We had everything we needed in the room. Small sink for hand washing, toilet and shower. Fresh linen and towels. Tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. It was cold outside but the temperature of the room was lovely. We were given a key and after a little chat we were left to get ready etc. Moorfield is situated in a great location with everything within easy reach. We walked to the town and visited the park which were both within a walking distance. At night the hotel is very quiet and we slept really well. Breakfast was served between 8am and 9am and we were asked our preference beforehand. We went down to eat about 8.30 and Janette was there ready to get everything prepared. Orange juice was on the table and there was a selection of cereals to choose should you require them. We were given toast and butter and there was a range of jams and marmalade too. We had a pot of coffee and a full cooked breakfast. The breakfast was lovely and consisted of 2 sausages, 2 bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and egg but Janette will prepare a different combination of items should you not require them. As we visited in December, it was decorated with lovely decorations that made it feel Christmassy. I like Christmas so it was lovely talking to Janette about her grandchildren and presents etc. Would definitely return as long as Janette was still running it.

This is a little gem of a place, especially if you like peace and quiet. No loud music playing all the time and the landlady is really helpful regarding places to visit. Even the breakfast is done to perfection. I'm staying here right now and I will definitely be coming back to this peaceful place.
