The room was too small for our family of 4, a bunk bed was provided for 2 adults; the room was just adequate for a couple. The property is old and situated on the 5th floor of a building. Often you need to wait for lengthy periods for the elevator. The external areas were dirty and dusty and in need of repair. We weren’t initially informed that a code was required to access the property and had to call the contact person who provided it to us. On our first day we didn’t see any staff and our communication with the manager was through WhatsApp. The main saving grace of the property is the location. It’s within 15m walk from the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Spanish steps, etc and has several restaurants in the vicinity,

I was pretty disappointed and nervous while staying at this place. First, the issues. 1) There is no one at the front desk who can speak English. 2) The person at the front desk is available only between 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM and can't speak English. 3) The rooms were super compact, tiny and narrow. 4) When I came back to room after city tour in the evening, the room was cold, looks like the cleaner opened the windows (I figured later). The heater was unplugged. Since no one at front desk, I had to communicate with owner on whatsapp to figure out the Heating system, understand how it works, and start it by my self. 5) While trying to keep myself warm and struggling to start the heater, while communicating with owner on whatsapp, I felt nervous and felt like owner is trying blame me for heater issue. 6) Will never stay in such places one more time. 7) BTW the food was meager here. Few croissants and a coffee machine. Take if you like or leave. No one cares or serves. Only one thing the owner helped me was arranging a car from Airport to pick me up to stay in their B&B. Obliviously the car guy took more than what she told me to pay. Paid 65 Euros. It would have costed only may be 40-50 Euros. Bottom-line: Not staying this place and its kind, one more time. Felt miserable here.
