To whoever may consider book a room in this guest house I suggest you should book any other available or else it is totally based on your luck what you get but not what you choose/ stated on the website. A very ridiculous experience, booked an en-suite room which we been provided a room with cold water shower. Rang the receptionist about the issue and they reply us they couldn’t find anyone for the emergency call out to fixed it, it is over 10 o’clock at night so we can understand this. But they just offer us to shower in the so called ‘Manager room’ which outside our room and still need to share with people in a few different rooms, alternatively we need to wait till next morning for someone may turn up to fix it. The problem is we paid for the facilities, for the en-suite room end up we been offered a share shower room. They not even bother to offer any compensation by still mentioned there are hotels charges at higher rate than them, and yes I know about that but this is the rates you set for public with the facilities stated clearly what included. I had agreed to pay over £90 for an en-suite room in your guest house but you didn’t fulfill the facilities you stated online that’s not fair! Does that mean you can change anything without any notice? Even a room without bed I still have to accept it just because somewhere else charge at higher rates and you might tell me “oh sorry, you are unlucky the bed in your room just broken before you check in, this is what you have to take now.”?

Nice single room in a very nice building and it's situated in a quiet area on Corstorphine Road with off street parking. The bed in the room was very comfy and a great 3 nights sleep was had. Murrayfield Park Guest House is only a short distance to Edinburgh's main shopping venue Princes Street. The bus service is really good. Haste ye back 👍👍👍

Not good. I usely give a fair review on every where I stay. But in all fairness not good.. I payed £220 for a twin room for one night, I know the rugby was on and also Edinburgh festival but no breakfast and the place just looked so tired!!! So sorry to put such a down on this place

What a let down!! OK, we booked late during Festival time but for £150 for a bed, no breakfast, I'd expect better. We arrived to be greeted by 3 mobile phone numbers on the front door. The 3rd actually answered! A code to get in, a key in a basket, get on with it! The room was clean, lovely ensuite, however, no "LCD flatscreen TV, DVD player and ipod docking" just holes in the wall where it might have been. Door closers were not there, odd mugs on the tray, need I go on???? Oh yes, no light shades. Did Rigsby ever run this place????
