SCAM ALERT!!! SHADY BUSINESS & GANGSTER!! The hotel staff told us to make a deposit to secure the room but when we came to check-in, they overbooked their rooms. The staff was very rude and she didn’t even show any apologetic attitude towards us and told us to go to other hotels nearby when the price went up more than double compared to what we booked with them in the middle of the night. They were not willing to refund the money we sent them beforehand and wanted to make things complicated so that we gave up on the deposit and let them took advantage of the money. They even called their security guard inside watching us to make us leave under the pressure. Of course eventually we did not give up and got our deposit back but there was NO COMPENSATION, NO APOLOGY and we were ditched outside to sort things out on our own with a pile of luggage. I warn you guys not to book this hotel and get into unnecessary trouble and anger during your trip. Vietnam is a nice place to travel and many Vietnamese people are lovely so don’t let your first contact with the country ruined by some malicious people in this hotel. It seems like this is not their first time scamming people too if you read other reviews.

The room was not at the worst stage but it was still not the best. There were hole on our blankets. The light in the room was blinking. There were broken pins in some of the power socket. At least the AC and the electric water heater were fine. And we did have a small window in our room. Overall, the location is very good, right at the center of the city. Many local dining locations as well as convenience stores are around the hotel.

old hotel. the rooms look bad. and I forgot my creams there and when I returned the same day. they said they raised it...but they probably just kept it for themselves. and why throw away guests' belongings? they should keep them for several days if they come back for them. very stupid service. So not recommended
